Nigerian senator Solomon Adeola, also known as Yayi, has opened up on his future political intentions for late veteran actor Ogogo before his demise.
The APC governorship candidate for the 2027 Ogun State election, revealed that he planned to make late Ogogo the special adviser on culture and tourism.
Yayi, in a now viral video, explained that he decided to keep the plan to himself till the best time to reveal it came, noting that he was believing in God for it to come to pass.
“I planned to make Ogogo my Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism. Not just as SA but as a full cabinet member if I won the election and become the governor of Ogun State. That was my plan. I kept it to myself and I was working with it. Believing that God will do it,” he said.
Ogogo, however, died on August 23, 2026 after his battle with cancer, at the age of 66.
