NPFL: Kwara United committed to transparency – Titiloye
Kwara United Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, has reiterated the club’s commitment to transparency, accountability and an open-door management policy.
Titiloye assured supporters and stakeholders that the management remains accessible and willing to provide clarification on issues concerning the club.
He was reacting to questions regarding the whereabouts of Akanni Akeem.
Titiloye clarified that the player joined Kwara United on loan, with a specific provision in the agreement allowing him to move abroad if an opportunity arose.
“All contracts of players always have four copies — NPFL, the club, the player and the NFF,” Titiloye explained in a chat with the club’s media.
“No club can play in the league without these documents, amongst other documents.
“Akanni Akeem was loaned to Kwara United, and his agents specifically noted that if an opportunity arises for him to move abroad, Kwara United must release him.”
