2028 Olympics Qualifier: Super Falcons want double win against Comoros
Uchenna Kanu has insisted that the Super Falcons are gunning for the double against Comoros, DAILY POST reports.
The Super Falcons head into the second leg of the 2028 Olympic Games second round qualifying tie with a 2-0 advantage.
Defender, Michelle Alozie, and Kanu got the goals for the 10-time African Champions in the first leg.
Kanu declared that the team’s target is to get another win against Comoros.
“Playing on a big stage like the Olympics is huge for me personally.
“We have a goal not just to make it to the Olympics, but also to look at the trophy. We have a good team, we’ve been preparing and we’ve been doing well.
“We want to win, like the coach said, and score as many goals as possible,” Kanu told the media.
Tonight’s encounter slated for the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne will kick-off at 6pm Nigeria time.
The aggregate winner will face Morocco in the third qualifying round in March 2027.
