TCN restores electricity supply to Ajah-Lekki 330kV transmission line
Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, announced the restoration of electricity supply to the Ajah–Lekki 330kV Transmission Line on Wednesday.
TCN disclosed this in a recent statement.
According to the company, electricity supply was restored at about 3:18 p.m. on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, TCN said the GIS circuit breaker at the Lekki Transmission Substation could not be closed due to pole discordance.
“At 12:40 p.m. on October 19, 2026, Ajah 330/132/33kV Transmission Substation lost supply on the Egbin–Ajah 330kV Transmission Lines 1 and 2 due to a system disturbance", the statement from TCN read.
