Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has once again weighed in on the controversial topic of polygamy, insisting that having multiple wives is not a sin.
The actor, via his X handle, asserted that polygamy has Biblical backing, adding that many great men in the Bible had multiple wives and God never condemned them for it.
Edochie, who has been vocal about his support for polygamy since taking a second wife in 2022, stressed that men in contemporary times are destined to be polygamists but suppress their true nature out of fear of societal judgment.
“POLYGAMY IS NOT A SIN. Even in the bible, many great men there had many wives and God never had issues with them. He was even willing to give them more. Today, many men are destined to have many wives but because they don’t know who they are and scared of what society will say they end up having just one and life doesn’t seem to be working for them,” Edochie boldly claimed.
