NPFL: Mangut hails Nasarawa United’s win at Bendel Insurance

Nasarawa United head coach, Mbwas Mangut has expressed his delight following his team’s away win over Bendel Insurance.

The Solid Miners defeated Bendel Insurance 1-0 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin on Saturday.

Substitute, Mohammed Garba fired home the winning goal deep into stoppage time.

The win was the Lafia club’s second on the road this season.

Nasarawa United are now unbeaten in their last six league games.

Mangut’s side also extended their lead at the top of the log to four points.

“It’s a thing of joy to get the maximum points, either home or away,” Mangut told the club’s media.

“After drawing their last home game, Bendel Insurance were all out, aggressively searching for the maximum points today.”

The Lafia club will face Rangers in their next game.
