NPFL: Bendel Insurance suspend technical adviser, Ikhenoba

Greg Ikhenoba has been suspended as the technical adviser of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Bendel Insurance.

Ikhenoba’s suspension was contained in a release signed by the Edo State Sports Commission Chairman, Hon Amadin Desmond Enabulele on Monday.

The young tactician suspension takes immediate effect.

Assistant coach Baldwin Bazuaye has been directed to take charge of the team.

According to the release, Ikhenoba’s suspension was necessitated following the team’s poor start to the 2025-26 season.

Bendel Insurance suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nasarawa United in a matchday seven fixture at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City on Saturday.

The Benin Arsenals occupy 15th position on the NPFL table with six points.
