Offset speaks on rumoured affair with Saweetie, failed marriage to Cardi B

American rapper Kiari Cephus, popularly known as Offset, has finally addressed the long-standing rumours suggesting he had an affair with fellow rapper Saweetie.

In a podcast interview with actress and singer Keke Palmer, Offset described the allegations as completely false and unnecessary.

“That whole Saweetie thing was just weird,” he said, emphasizing that the cheating rumours were “strange and baseless”.

The former Migos member also opened up on his split from Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B, admitting that his own mistakes led to the collapse of their marriage.

“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” Offset confessed, acknowledging that infidelity and poor decision-making took a toll on their relationship.

Despite their separation, the rapper expressed deep respect for Cardi B, referring to her as “bro,” and clarified that their divorce has not yet been finalized.

Offset further reflected on his personal journey, revealing that he has been coping with grief following the death of his cousin and bandmate, Takeoff, who was tragically killed in 2022.

Determined to turn his life around, the rapper said he is now focused on self-improvement and healing.

“I’m focused on becoming a better man now,” he said, adding that therapy and faith have played key roles in helping him overcome addiction and find inner peace.
