NPFL: Austin charges Warri Wolves players to go for victory against Tornadoes
Warri Wolves head coach, Johnny Austin has charged his players to build on the recent away win against Barau FC in their matchday eighth clash against Niger Tornadoes.
Warri Wolves secured a 1-0 win against Barau FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano last week.
The Seasiders will square up with Niger Tornadoes at the Southern Delta University Stadium in Ozoro on Sunday (today).
Austin urged the players to show hunger and intensity in the game.
“What we achieved in Kano was remarkable, but football doesn’t reward yesterday’s success, ” Austin stated.
“We must step onto the pitch on Sunday with the mindset that every game is a new battle. Niger Tornadoes are no pushovers, and if we want to make a statement this season, we must replicate and even surpass our performance in Kano.”
