NPFL: Mangut pleased with Nasarawa United’s win over Rangers

Nasarawa United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut has shared his thoughts on the team’s victory over Rangers.

The Solid Miners recorded a 2-1 win over the eighth-time champions at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Nasarawa United extended their unbeaten streak to seven games following the win.

Anas Yusuf, and John Joshua were on target for the hosts in the game.

Mangut stated that his team is improving with every game.

The young tactician also credited their opponent for giving his side a tough fight.

“I feel very happy with today’s result, more so that my team keeps improving everyday,” he told the club’s media.

“Today’s game might not too be smooth, however, you don’t expect all the games to be the same always, because your opponents too will have their own time.”

The Lafia club are currently leading the NPFL table with 19 points from eight games.

They will now negotiate a tricky away fixture against Ikorodu City this weekend.
