Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tochukwu Okechukwu, has weighed in on the ongoing social media feud between businessman Blord and activist VeryDarkMan over the controversial iPhone 17 saga.

In a post on his Instagram story, Tochi expressed disappointment at what he described as the growing distraction and material obsession among public figures who claim to be activists.

He said that real activism requires discipline and focus, not showiness or personal gain.

The reality TV star’s post appeared to be directed at the current drama surrounding Blord and VeryDarkMan.

The dispute started after Blord was accused of selling a modified iPhone XR as an iPhone 17 Pro Max, leading to criticism from VeryDarkMan, who accused him of misleading customers and inflating prices.

Reacting, Tochi wrote: “You’re not an activist just because you’re stubborn. True activism takes discipline. Now that you’ve made a little money, suddenly the nation’s problems have turned into an obsession with the iPhone 17. Back when you were in your room, drinking pure water, you actually made sense.

“All these flashy phones and gadgets you’re flaunting. It’s all just noise. You’re not different from the rest of them, same game, same hypocrisy. You just want to sell your market.”
