Three Nigerian Women Arrested As Police Bust Drug Manufacturing And Distribution Network In India
Police in Gurugram, Delhi, India, have arrested three Nigerian women for allegedly operating a drug distribution network and seized a significant quantity of MDMA and cocaine.
The accused were reportedly part of a racket supplying synthetic drugs across the Delhi-NCR region.
The arrested women, identified as Precious, Gift and Joy, were taken into custody near Bakhtawar Chowk, Gurgaon, by a team from the Crime Unit, Sector 43 on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
The accused were reportedly staying at Food Empire near the Bajaj showroom on Devli Road, Delhi.
“A total of 39 grams of MDMA, a commercial quantity, was recovered from their possession. They have been booked under Section 21(C) of the NDPS Act at Sadar Police Station, Gurgaon,” said a police officer.
Police added that the women were supplying drugs sourced from Chhatarpur, Delhi, to customers in Gurgaon.
They were also reportedly engaged in s3x work at night around MG Road.
“They arrived in India two years ago on medical visas and remained illegally after their documents expired,” an officer said.
“Following interrogation, a police team led by Inspector Narendra conducted a raid at Khanpur Extension, Delhi, on Sunday morning with support from Delhi Police.
During the raid, officers recovered 22 grams of white MDMA, 3 grams of brown MDMA, 9 grams of cocaine, an electronic weighing machine, six rolls of black tape, three bundles of polythene packaging, and three mobile phones.
According to the police, Joy’s boyfriend, suspected to be a key member of the network, had fled a day earlier.
“The entire building was rented by Nigerians who were running a drug manufacturing and distribution setup. They used chemicals to produce MDMA and cocaine powder and supplied it across India via the dark web and other illegal channels,” Inspector Narendra said.
