EPL: Arsenal suffer triple injury blow after Crystal Palace win
At least three Arsenal players picked up knocks as they beat Crystal Palace 1-0 in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Gunners went four points clear at the top of the table, thanks to Eberechi Eze’s first-half volley.
However, William Saliba failed to emerge after the break and was replaced by Cristhian Mosquera.
As the second half wore on, Declan Rice and Ricardo Calafiori were also taken off.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Arteta was asked for updates.
He replied: “The first one was William [Saliba]. He was out after the first half.
“Declan [Rice] was struggling from the first half with a knock that he took. Riccy [Calafiori] was another one. Let’s see how they recover.”
