Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has been sensationally linked with a move to Spanish champions Barcelona, as the Catalan club are exploring options to reinforce their attack next summer.
The 32-year-old England captain, who joined Bayern in the summer of 2023 for €95 million, has been a prolific goalscorer in Germany, finding the net more than 40 times in all competitions each season since his arrival.
According to reports in Spain, Barcelona are monitoring Kane’s situation closely, with his current deal containing a €65 million release clause that becomes active in the summer of 2026, when he enters the final year of his contract.
Real Madrid: Kane tipped for Premier League return
Kane earns around €25 million per year, making him one of the Bundesliga’s highest-paid players, a figure Barcelona could potentially match if their financial situation improves.
However, clubs from Saudi Arabia are also said to have shown interest in signing the England striker.
At Bayern, Kane has continued his remarkable form, scoring 22 goals and providing three assists in just 15 matches this season, underlining his status as one of Europe’s elite forwards.

Barcelona view Kane as a possible successor to Robert Lewandowski, who joined the club from Bayern in 2022 and is now in the final year of his deal. Lewandowski, 37 next year, has struggled with injuries, prompting Barça to explore new attacking options.
However, Barcelona’s pursuit will depend heavily on their financial fair play constraints and ability to make space in the wage structure.
