NPFL: Boboye confident Bendel Insurance will recover from poor run
Bendel Insurance technical adviser, Kennedy Boboye, has urged his players to continue pushing hard after their 1-1 draw against Warri Wolves.
The Benin Arsenals have recorded one win from 10 games in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season.
Boboye, who took charge of the team last month following the sacking of Greg Ikhenoba, is yet to taste victory with the team.
Insurance have drawn their opening two games under his tutelage.
Boboye admitted that his players failed to take their chances in the game against Warri Wolves.
“We just need to keep pushing until we get it right,” Boboye stated in his post-match interview.
“If we had taken our chances, we wouldn’t be complaining about penalty calls.
“There is nothing we can do now until the mid-season, but we just have to encourage what we have on ground.”
Insurance will take on Rivers United in their next league game.
They occupy 19th position on the league table with eight points.
