UCL: ‘Without a doubt’ – Luis Enrique names best team in Europe

Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has revealed his choice of the very best football team in the world at the moment.

Enrique made his opinion known following PSG’s 2-1 defeat in the hands of Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

The Spaniard believes that German Bundesliga side, Bayern are ‘the best team in Europe.’

Enrique’s PSG are the champions of Europe having beaten Inter Milan in the final to claim the title in the 2024-25 season.

Three teams have won all four of their opening matches this season, Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Arsenal.

While the Gunners are yet to let him a single goal in the competition, Bayern have scored 14 goals across their four games, three more than Mikel Arteta’s side.

Enrique, a former Barcelona manager, does not see any team better than Bayern Munich in Europe.

“At 11 against 11, Bayern were stronger [than us], without a doubt,” Enrique told reporters following his side’s defeat.

“You play against the best team in Europe, with the best results, and they pressed us at a high level.”

Bayern and Arsenal will lock horns in their next Champions League match at the Emirates on November 26.
