Africa Economic Summit 2025 to Convene Global Leaders on Unlocking Africa’s Geoeconomic Power
The Africa Economic Summit Group (AESG) is pleased to announce that the Africa Economic Summit 2025 (AES25) will take place on 4–5 November 2025in Harare, Zimbabwe, under the theme “Unlocking Africa’s Geoeconomic Power: Trade, Technology and Transformation.”
The Summit will bring together Heads of State, Ministers, investors, innovators, and policy leaders from across Africa, alongside senior delegates from Türkiye, India, the United States, and Europe, to advance a new era of ethical, data-driven, and inclusive economic cooperation.
Over the years, the Africa Economic Summit has earned its place as a premier leadership platform that convenes Africa’s foremost decision-makers. Previous editions have been graced by Presidents of Nigeria, Ghana, Malawi, and Liberia, as well as Ministers of Finance, Trade, and Environment from across the continent. Many of these leaders are expected to attend this year’s edition, making AES25 a strategic opportunity for Africa’s partners to engage directly with a new generation of leadership driving transformation on the continent.
AES25 will feature high-level discussions on trade, industrialisation, infrastructure, technology, and sustainable development – all framed within Africa’s ambition to strengthen its position in global value chains.
Speaking on the upcoming Summit, Dr Brian O. Reuben, Chief Executive Officer of AESG, stated:
“Africa’s rise is no longer a forecast – it is a present reality. AES25 is a platform where leaders and partners from Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas can collaborate on shaping the global economy around shared prosperity, innovation, and integrity.”
The Summit will be co-chaired by distinguished leaders representing Africa’s regional and institutional diversity:
● Dr Farzam Kamalabadi – President & CEO, Future Trends (United States)
● Rt. Hon. Fabakary Tombong Jatta – Speaker, National Assembly of The Gambia & ECOWAS Parliamentarian
● Hon. Dr Dianah Kembabazi – Executive Director, Parliamentary Forum on East African Community Affairs
