Osimhen only joined Galatasaray permanently from Napoli during the summer for around €75 million and is under contract until 2029, making any potential transfer complex and expensive.
Despite that, the 26-year-old’s form has kept him on Barcelona’s radar.
Osimhen has been impressive for Galatasaray this season has scoring six goals in nine appearances for the Turkish champions this season, continuing the prolific run that made him one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers.
Barcelona are exploring several options for life after Lewandowski, but Osimhen’s age, physicality, and proven track record in Europe make him one of the club’s preferred targets, even if a deal this summer appears financially challenging.
