EPL: Chelsea suffer fresh injury blow

Chelsea have suffered a fresh injury blow ahead of their Premier League tie with Nottingham Forest next Saturday.

This comes after their midfielder Enzo Fernández left the Argentina camp due to swelling in his knee.

According to Fabrizio Romano, as a result of the injury, Fernández has now left the Argentina camp, and he is on his way back to Chelsea.

This means that Fernandez will not take part in Argentina’s friendly clash with Puerto Rico on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old will now hope to recover on time to feature against Nottingham next weekend.

Fernandez has been impressive since joining Chelsea from Benfica in 2023.
