EPL: Two key players to miss Chelsea’s match with Nottingham Forest
Two key Chelsea players will miss their Premier League tie with Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon.
This was confirmed by Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca during his pre-match press conference on Friday.
Speaking to reporters, Maresca suggested that the likes of Cole Palmer and Benoit Badiashile will not take part in the Nottingham game due to injury.
“Benoit Badiashile will be out until December. He has suffered a muscular problem,” Maresca said while providing an update on his squad.
“Cole Palmer will be out for six more weeks. The medical staff are not magicians. We hope six weeks are enough.
“For sure, Cole will be okay, and he doesn’t need surgery, absolutely.”
Maresca added: “Moi Caicedo, Enzo Fernández and Pedro are all doubts for this weekend [against Nottingham].
“Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana and Andrey Santos are all back,” he added.
Chelsea head to the game after beating Liverpool 2-1 in their last Premier League game.
