FG shortlists candidates for NIS, NSCDC, Fire, Correctional services recruitment
The federal government has announced the release of shortlisted names for the ongoing recruitment exercise into four major paramilitary agencies, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and Federal Fire Service (FFS).
The announcement was made by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), the body responsible for coordinating recruitment into the four services.
In a public notice signed by Abdulmalik Jibril, Board’s Secretary, applicants were advised to visit the official recruitment portal, https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from Thursday, October 30, 2025, to confirm their shortlisting status and access details of their Computer-Based Test (CBT).
“All applicants are to log on to the portal to check if they have been shortlisted and to view the date, venue, and time of their Computer-Based Test,” the statement read in part.
Jibril further warned candidates to be vigilant and avoid falling prey to fraudulent individuals or websites claiming to offer recruitment assistance.
He stressed that only information published on the CDCFIB’s official portal and communication channels should be trusted.
The CDCFIB reiterated its commitment to a transparent and merit-based recruitment process, assuring applicants that all stages of the exercise would be conducted in line with established standards.
