Heartwarming Moment FUT Minna Security Man Reunited With A Former Student After 22 Years

Nigerian politician Daniel Onjeh has shared a touching moment of his reunion with Haruna Mohammed, a security officer at the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, 22 years after his graduation.

Onjeh, a former president of the West African Students’ Union and the National Association of Nigerian Students shared photos from the reunion in a Facebook post on Wednesday. 

 

“He completely lost control out of excitement, jumped to hug me and pecked both sides of my cheek the moment he sighted me for the first time after 22 years!,” the former APC senatorial candidate for Benue South, wrote.

 

“I never really took note of this man back then at the security gatepost while I went about my student activism on campus. Yet, he remembered me so clearly and began to recount those moments with nostalgia, recalling things I had long forgotten. This was sometimes in June, 2024.

 

“His name is Haruna Mohammed a.k.a Damaturu, a security man at the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna. I can’t stop sharing this story, it’s a touching reminder of how genuine human connections endure, even when time and distance stand between us.

 

“May God guide and preserve him always.”
