Israel reveals when to end conflict with Hamas

Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, says his country will end conflict when Hamas agrees to lay down arms and release hostages.

Freeman made this disclosure on Wednesday, when he appeared as a guest in an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Nigeria-based Arise Television.

“Hamas is a barbaric terrorist organization. Two years ago, they carried out the worst massacre of Jews with holocaust with thousands of Hamas terrorists came across the border murdered, tortured, raped and burt alive Israelis who were sleeping in their houses.

“When we talk about Hamas, we need to know who we are talking about here. I hope that Hamas will finally understand that this should be over, they should release the hostages and lay down their arms.

“After 2 years and the military pressure Israel has put on Hamas. Hamas has finally understood that the way to end this is to release the 48 hostages and lay down their arms.

“When Hamas agrees to lay down their arms and release hostages, this conflict will be over,” he said.
