MC Oluomo Didn’t Promise to Reward Us – Actor Fakoko Counters Lalude Over 2023 Campaign (Video)
Veteran Nollywood actor, Alhaji Babatunde Bamgbode aka Baba Fokoko has made a submission concerning the 2023 election campaign.
According to him, MC Oluomo didn’t promise to them any reward for campaigning for President Bola Tinubu in 2023.
Recall that Lalude, Alapini, Toyin Abraham, Olaiye Igwe, Seyi Law, Eniola Badmus, and Foluke Daramola were among hundreds of Nollywood celebrities that led campaigns for Tinubu presidency during the 2023 general elections.
Expressing regret two years after Tinubu’s victory, Alapini in June 2025, lamented not being rewarded for his support.
Reacting to Alapini’s interview, Lalude called out president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, MC Oluomo for not fulfilling what he promised them for the campaign.
However, speaking in a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, actor Fakoko countered Lalude, noting that MC Oluomo never promised to reward them.
“He didn’t promise to reward any of us. He didn’t promise me anything but he had it in mind to treat us well. It’s been more than two years! He didn’t promise to give anyone anything
“He brought food stuffs to us to share during the campaign, and instructed us to distribute the remaining ones among ourselves. We went home with those food stuffs more than two times. But he never promised to compensate us after the campaign”.
