NPFL: Adegun optimistic Plateau United will get better with more games

Plateau United technical adviser, Oluwasola Adegun has encouraged his players to continue to believe in themselves in order to improve their performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

The Peace Boys defeated Barau FC 2-0 at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.

It was the Plateau United’s third win of the season.

Adegun described his team’s performance as a work in progress but assured of a more consistent performance in subsequent matches.

“The first goal gave my players the much needed confidence in the game and we are happy with the improvement in the game,” Adegun reacted after the game.

“The players were jittery in some parts of the game but it is a work in progress, we will continue to work hard on the pitch. Hopefully we can become more consistent going forward so we can win more games on the road.”

Plateau United moved to 15th position on the NPFL table. They will do battle with Niger Tornadoes in their next game in Minna.
