NPFL: Anaemena thumbs up Kun Khalifat win over Enyimba

Kun Khalifat FC Sporting Director, Ifeanyi Anaemena, believes that his team put up a good fight in the victory over Enyimba.

Ebuka Nwokorie’s goal secured a 1-0 win for the modest side against the People’s Elephant at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri on Sunday.

Anaemena stated that the players showed resilience, courage and determination to get the maximum points.

“We had an intensive fight against a good side Enyimba FC, it was an obvious display of resilience, determination, courage and a lot more,” the two-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, winning defender stated.

“I give credit to the team even though we took the day.”

Kun Khalifat will hope to maintain the momentum when they square up against Bayelsa United in Yenagoa this weekend.
