NPFL: Kwara United down Remo Stars, Insurance, Wolves share spoils

Kwara United defeated Remo Stars 3-1 in their Matchday 11 encounter in Ilorin on Saturday, DAILY POST reports.

The Harmony Boys moved up to fifth position on the table following the victory.

Junior Aimufua netted twice for the home side, while Babatunde Bright scored the other goal.

Remo Stars pulled one back through Jabbar Malik deep into stoppage time.

In the day’s other fixture, Bendel Insurance and Warri Wolves played out a 1-1 draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

Insurance took the lead through Alex Oweilayefa in the ninth minute, before Othuke Egbo equalised for the visitors four minutes before the break.
