Poor officiating: NPFL sanctions Kano Pillars vs 3SC referees
The Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, has recommend sanctions for three match officials, Mohammed B Tuta (centre referee), Bem Japhet (assistant referee), and Shehu Isah (assistant referee).
The trio took charge of Sunday’s NPFL clash between Kano Pillars and Shooting Stars at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
The matchday eight encounter ended in a 1-1 draw.
Kano Pillars attacked the trio after the game for questionable officiating.
They have been stepped down from officiating in the NPFL.
The NPFL also requested that the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, reappraise their suitability to handle future league matches.
