Regina Daniels’ Brother Sammy Remanded in Prison

 

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy has been denied bail on Thursday.

 

This comes after he was charged to court and remanded in prison until November 28, following a legal case allegedly linked to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.

 

The update was given by his brother Sweezy, another of Regina’s brothers.

 

He shared a video revealing the poor condition Sammy has been subjected to while in police custody.

 

According to Sweezy, Sammy was denied bail during his court appearance.

 

He expressed disappointment and urged concerned Nigerians to speak up, insisting that his brother was being unfairly treated.

 

This comes after Sweezy earlier accused Ned Nwoko of being behind Sammy’s ordeal, despite the businessman’s denial of ever filing a petition against the singer.

 

Adding to the family’s outcry, Rita Daniels, mother of Regina and the detained singer, shared a photo of Sammy in detention.

 

The image, which quickly went viral, showed Sammy sitting in a dirty room with visible bruises on his arms and body.
