Super Falcons coach, Madugu offered two-year contract by NFF

Super Falcons head Justine Madugu has confirmed he has been offered a two-year contract by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

Madugu was appointed on temporary basis last year following the resignation of former handler of the team, Randy Waldrum.

Under his tutelage, the Super Falcons won the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, in Morocco.

The 61-year-old has also guided the Super Falcons to qualification for the WAFCON 2026 finals following a 3-1 aggregate win over Benin Republic.

“I have been given a new contract from October 1, 2025 till October 1, 2027,” Madugu told reporters after his side’s victory over Benin.

The contract is expected to be made official by the NFF in the next few days.
