Tinubu Attends Church Service In Plateau
Tinubu was in COCIN for the funeral service of Nana Lydia Yilwatda, the late mother of the All Progressives Congress, APC, National Chairman, Prof. Nantewe Yilwatda Goshwe.
Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu attended a church service on Saturday at the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Jos, Plateau State.
Tinubu was in COCIN for the funeral service of Nana Lydia Yilwatda, the late mother of the All Progressives Congress, APC, National Chairman, Prof. Nantewe Yilwatda Goshwe.
Tinubu, a Muslim who hails from Lagos State, is married to a Christian, Remi.
Mrs Remi is an ordained Assistant Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG.
During the 2027 presidential election, Tinubu threw caution to the wind and ran on a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
This led to a widespread condemnation from Nigerians who wanted Tinubu to pick a northern Christian as his running mate, in the interest of fairness and balance.
