Tinubu’s govt elevated forgery to state policy – Atiku’s aide
Atiku Abubakar’s media aide, Paul Ibe, has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of elevating forgery to state policy.
“The Tinubu-led APC administration not only elevated forgery to a state policy, it innovatively appointed an individual with the set skills in the science and innovation of forgery,” Ibe said.
The statement comes after the resignation of the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji.
Ibe, in a post on X on Wednesday, was reacting to an earlier statement by by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar accusing President Bola Tinubu’s administration of being “an assembly of forgers, impostors, and morally bankrupt individuals masquerading as public servants”.
Atiku said the recent resignation of the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Uche Nnaji, exposed “the deep moral crisis at the heart of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration.”
According to him, Nnaji’s exit, described by the government as a voluntary resignation, was an attempt to “whitewash yet another scandal that typifies the forgery-ridden character of this government”.
