We’re not recruiting, beware of scammers – FUTH Lafia warns job seekers

The Management of the Federal University Teaching Hospital, FUTH, Lafia has warned job seekers against scammers promising to give them employment at the hospital.

This is contained in a statement by Mrs Ruth Namo, Public Relations Officer of the hospital and made available to newsmen on Friday in Lafia.

She explained that the attention of the hospital’s management had been drawn that some unscrupulous individuals were going about defrauding unsuspecting individuals and collecting money in the guise of offering them employment.

“The general public should beware of fraudsters, and anyone who gives money to any individual in the name of getting employment in FUTH Lafia does so at their own risk,” she said.

According to the PRO, the hospital management will collaborate with security agencies to fish out those perpetrating the act in order to maintain the integrity of the hospital.

“Any time the hospital will employ, it will make it known to the public through the appropriate channels and nobody will be asked to pay before he or she is employed in the hospital,” she added.

She, therefore, advised those in the habit of using the hospital to scam people to desist, or be ready to face the wrath of the law.
