You Made The Choice To Marry Your Grandfather, But You Shouldn’t D!e Because Of That – Actress, Onuoha Tells Regina Daniels
Nollywood veteran Georgina Onuoha has appealed to actress Regina Daniels to keep her marital issues off social media, as her separation from Senator Ned Nwoko continues to generate widespread discussion.
That Onuoha issued the caution on Saturday, expressing concern over the actress’ frequent online posts about her marriage in the past three weeks.
Regina Daniels had earlier appeared in a viral video accusing her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, of physical abuse. The allegation triggered widespread reactions online.
Nwoko, however, denied the claim, insisting that Regina’s recent behaviour was linked to alleged drug use. He accused her brother and close associates of enabling the situation.
According to the senator, every attempt to place the actress in therapy is disrupted by people close to her.
Regina Daniels has since dismissed the allegations, insisting that her husband was attempting to smear her reputation and manipulate public sympathy.
Weighing in via a video on Sunday, Onuoha emphatically said, “Enough of this social media drama.
“All of you should stand down. Enough of this social media posting and talking. Regina Daniels, if for the six years of being married to this man you don’t have connections, it raises some questions. Take your case to court.
“So, I will beg your family to please stop the social media stuff. Then get a PR team to do that for you and follow this matter the right way. Enough of personal attacks; I know the pain. You want to get justice against a man who has abused you and your family. You made the choice to marry your grandfather but you should not d!e because of that.
“That being said enough of the social media drama. Take your case to the Senators’ Wives Association, let them plead your case. Marriage is not by force. And I tell you now, I am your mother’s agemate, do not return to that house if you don’t feel safe. Don’t let anybody use children against you, the children will be fine. So, please, go get help. Use the proper channel, get the authorities. I know this is painful but enough of the whole drama. Your mental health is important.”
