Pete Edochie speaks on his relationship with Nigerian leaders

Nollywood veteran Pete Edochie has spoken up on his personal relationship with Nigerian leaders, describing it as that of a father and his sons.

The actor, while speaking during an interview, recounted an time where he appealed for assistance from the government on behalf of his ailing colleague.

Edochie noted that his appeal yielded a positive response, with the government reportedly sending the actor half a million naira the following week.

“During that period, one of my colleagues was ill, so I used that opportunity to call on the government to come help him. The following week, the government sent him half a million naira. I’m older than all the governors and president, so when I talk to them, it’s like a father talking to a son,” he said.
