Nollywood actor Afeez Oyetoro, popularly known as Saka, has opened up on an hard financial decision he made in 1999. The actor, while speaking during an interview, revealed that he was offered ₦7.5 million to promote a betting company but he turned it down because it was against his personal beliefs.
Afeez explained that he was a devout and used to speak against betting, smoking, and drinking alcohol. He stated that accepting the offer, despite it being eye-catching, would have set a bad example for his students.
He disclosed that the same agent who brought the betting deal later offered him a ₦5 million job for six months.
”It’s a six months contract. We moved round the country. After I finished, the handed over the money to me“, he stated.
