EPL: Four fixtures we could see shock results in Game Week 5
The final round of Premier League fixtures before the international break will be played this weekend.
Teams will be looking to go into the three-week break with decent results.
We have already had a big upset this game week, with Chelsea losing 3-0 at Brentford.
So, which other fixtures can we expect to produce surprise results?
1. Brighton vs Arsenal: Mikel Arteta’s men travel to the Amex with a perfect record. Arsenal have won all the matches they have played across all competitions so far. But Brighton will provide another test for the Gunners, as they are also enjoying a good start to the campaign.
2. Bournemouth vs Liverpool: Andoni Iraola returns to his former club with Liverpool this weekend. It remains to be seen what type of reception he will receive from the supporters. However, the players he was working with just four months ago will be eager to send a big message to their former boss.
3. Man City vs Sunderland: Ahead of Sunderland’s visit to the Etihad, Enzo Maresca has hailed the Black Cats’ solidity and resilience. He even claimed they were unlucky to lose to Arsenal last week. Well, we will see how his City side goes about breaking down Régis Le Bris’ team as they try to keep pace with Arsenal.
4. Fulham vs Man Utd: Most fans and pundits expect Manchester United to bounce back from their consecutive losses with a victory at Fulham. The Cottagers have not been very good in the league and have only one point, but they were able to beat West Ham in the Carabao Cup. This could give them the momentum to stun Michael Carrick’s men on Sunday.
