Europa League: Ndidi declares Beşiktaş ready for Crystal Palace battle
Wilfred Ndidi says Beşiktaş are battle ready for the UEFA Europa League home clash against Crystal Palace, DAILY POST reports.
The Turkish Super Lig giants are unbeaten in the group phase of the competition this season.
Beşiktaş thrashed French club Marseille 4-1 in their first group game, before recording a 3-2 away win over Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim.
Ndidi is optimistic they can continue their impressive run of form in the competition when they welcome the Premier League club to the Tüpraş Stadium on Thursday night (today).
“We are a team and we will be playing at home. We are working very hard,” Ndidi said in the pre-match press conference.
“We will be playing against a good team. Teams coming from England are used to high tempo and intensity. We have played and are playing against good teams. So we are ready."
Beşiktaş currently occupy fourth position on the Europa League standings, while Crystal Palace sit in 15th spot.
