Akindele also expressed her gratitude for the milestone, stating that the achievement is a product of hard work and dedication.
“One of the things that means the most to me is knowing there are young creatives out there who look at my journey and say, ‘I can do this too.’ To every up-and-coming Nollywood filmmaker, please don’t give up on your dreams. I hope the work we’re doing today gives you a platform to tell your own stories and take them even further. This is just the beginning for our industry, and I’m excited about what we can do together,” she stated.
