The elections will take place in Gombe, Kano, Bauchi and Delta states.
The Chief Press Secretary to the INEC Chairman, Tunde Oketola, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Abuja.
Oketola said the five elections would involve one federal constituency and four state constituencies.
According to him, the federal constituency election will be held in the Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency of Gombe State.
The state constituency elections will take place in Disina and Sakwa State Constituencies in Bauchi State, Udu State Constituency in Delta State, and Dawakin Kudu State Constituency in Kano State.
INEC is expected to oversee the conduct of the elections and ensure that voters in the affected constituencies are able to exercise their rights.
The September 19 elections will be closely watched as part of preparations for future electoral activities across the country.
