Laide Olabanji warns Adeleke as he predicts Peter Obi will win Osun [VIDEO]
Nollywood actor, Laide Olabanji, has warned Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke that voters may reject the All Progressives Congress, APC, predicting that Peter Obi will be their preferred choice.
Olabanji made the remarks in a video, speaking in Yoruba, where he criticised Adeleke’s political decision and accused him of failing to repay the people for standing by him during difficult times.
The actor said Osun residents supported Adeleke despite the challenges he faced from the APC and questioned why the governor would now make a decision he believes could go against their interests.
“Despite all the problems and battles the APC put you through, Osun people stood by you. Is this how you want to repay them?” Olabanji said.
He argued that residents did not want another four years of hardship and predicted that they would reject the APC again.
“Osun people are not ready to suffer anymore. They don’t want to suffer another four years,” he said.
Olabanji also predicted that Obi would win Osun, urging people to remember his words.
“Write down today’s date. Peter Obi will be the choice of Osun people. Note my words, Peter Obi will win in Osun,” he said.
