NPFL: Ojo backs Enyimba to recover from slow start
Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Olorunleke Ojo, is optimistic Enyimba will improve on their performance despite their slow start to the new season.
The People’s Elephant have lost all three matches in the NPFL this season.
Enyimba sit at the bottom of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, table.
Emmanuel Deutsch’s side suffered a 1-0 defeat to Inter Lagos in Aba on Sunday.
Ojo, who made 42 appearances for Enyimba, blamed ill luck for the defeat.
“Football could be very funny, sometimes you give your all yet you don’t get what you wanted,” Ojo reacted after the game.
“Hard luck my people. Better days ahead.”
