NPFL: Yusuf confident Shooting Stars will improve after slow start

Shooting Stars technical adviser, Salisu Yusuf, has called for patience from the supporters following their goalless draw against Nasarawa United.

Yusuf assured the club’s faithful that his team will improve as the season progresses.

Shooting Stars have recorded two wins, one draw and three defeats in their opening six matches of the campaign.

The Oluyole Warriors also crashed out of the CAF Confederation Cup in the first preliminary round.

“Football is very emotional, even myself am not happy with the outcome of the game against Nasarawa United,” Yusuf told 3SCFANTV.

“What we are asking from the fans is understanding things are going to be right.

“We have only played six games in the season with more to go, we just need to be patient because to be on the continent it’s not the best starter but the best finisher that will make it.”
