Nigerian afrobeats star Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has reacted to the speculations of a rift with fellow artist, Davido.
Rema, while speaking in an interview with Ebro Darden and Laura Stylez, dismissed the claims as false, stating that there is no issue between them.
He also noted that fans tend to make comparisons between artists, which can escalate into perceived rivalries.
“Davido and I have no issues; those are just rumours. I have so much respect for the OGs. Fans are always the ones starting things. I used to caution my fans, but sometimes the other artiste enjoys the comparisons and doesn’t do the same, so I stopped,” he stated.
