Serie A: Lazio prepare new contract for Dele-Bashiru
Lazio are working on a new contract for Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, DAILY POST reports.
According to the Italian publication, Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A club has already opened talks with the midfielder’s representatives over a potential contract extension.
Dele-Bashiru, 25, is currently contracted to Lazio until 2028 but is expected to receive an improved salary in recognition of his growing importance to the team.
The club are keen to resolve the situation before the winter transfer window.
The Nigerian midfielder joined Lazio from Turkish side Hatayspor in July 2025 and has continued to establish himself at the Italian club.
