Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has officially declared herself ”off the streets” stirring reactions about her search for love.
The Grammy-winning artist, while speaking during a TikTok livestream, explained that she was leaving the streets because she was tired of men wasting her time.
Although Tems did not elaborate her statement, she expressed that she does not want to have to deal with men who approached her only for ulterior motives.
“I don’t like it when guys waste my time. But for me, never again. I don’t have that problem anymore. I have left the streets; I wouldn’t even say I was ever on the streets,” she said.
The singer had previously opened up on her experience with men, stating that many of the men who approached her for relationships were mostly interested in her body, rather than having a genuine relationship.
