Real Madrid have confirmed that forward Kylian Mbappé has suffered an injury to his left knee following medical tests conducted by the club’s medical team on Saturday.

In an official medical report dated September 26, 2026, Real Madrid said Mbappé was diagnosed with a hyperextension of the posterior capsule of his left knee.

“After the tests carried out today on our player Kylian Mbappé by Real Madrid’s Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a hyperextension of the posterior capsule of his left knee. Awaiting evolution,” the club stated.

Real Madrid did not provide a specific recovery timeline for the France international, indicating that his condition will be monitored as his recovery progresses.
