WWE Crown Jewel results: Oba Femi helps Penta, Je’Von Evans win Tag Team Gold
Penta and Je’Von Evans are the new World Tag Team Champions thanks to an assist from Oba Femi at WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday in Saudi Arabia.
It is Evans’ first championship in WWE.
The title change came after Femi defeated The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Austin Theory at the event.
Theory and Evans opened the fast-paced match, but all four competitors soon got involved.
The babyfaces sent the champions to the outside and followed with double dives.
Back in the ring, Penta hit Theory with a backstabber and Evans connected with a frog splash.
Femi’s music then hit, and he went face-to-face with Reed. The two brawled on the stage, where Femi sent Reed crashing through a table set up below.
Penta took Breakker down from the top rope and hit Theory with a Mexican Destroyer, then Evans landed the OG Cutter and pinned Theory for the win.
