Fola fulfills mother’s wishes with surprise new car

Afrobeats rising star Afolarin Odunlami, popularly known as Fola has gifted his mother a car, revealing that he has granted her two major wishes.

The artist, while sharing the new via his Instagram page, explained that he had asked his mother what she wanted when things began to align for him, and her requests were her own church building and a specific car.

Fola had previously spoken about the decision to use his first major earnings to buy his mother a piece of land in Ibadan, where she subsequently built a church, disclosing that it a promise he made to her at the early stage of his career.

“When things started to align, I randomly asked my mother what she wanted and she said she wanted her own church building and this specific car. I thank God for keeping this running long enough for me to say I’ve done both things,” he wrote.

Before his breakthrough, Fola worked as a Bet cashier in Ibadan. He said his mother never doubted his potential even during those years, encouraging him to keep making music.
